Conservation is important to maintain the natural equilibrium in nature and at Glebe Contractors we understand the importance of striking the right balance when undertaking any landscaping or maintenance work. We can undertake projects that relate to developing wilderness spaces, pruning, and lopping to encourage new growth, utilising natural and growing plants to create borders and creating natural hedges and fences. FLAIL CUTTING AND CUT AND COLLECT SERVICES
We are able to provide services that include flail cutting and have equipment available that includes Kubota with front flail, BCS all terrain tractor with front flail, 4WD tractor with rear flail, sidearms and forestry swipe and a Takeuchi tracked loader with front flail. We also have a Ryetec heavy duty machine that can cut and collect wild foliage including long/wet grass, bracken, bramble, and heather. Please get in touch for your vegetation cutting requirements.
FENCING AND TIMBER STRUCTURE INSTALLATIONS
We supply and erect all types of stock fencing, specialist fencing and gates and also provide repair services that can be available rapidly and in case of emergency. Glebe Contractors was established in the 1970s and for over 50 years we have installed fences that include: stock netting, deer fencing, newt fencing, bollards, gates, cattle grids, post and rail fences. We also do board walks, dipping platforms, wooden and stone steps bespoke made for the customer. We supply and install benches, memorial plaques, nest boxes and habitats. ECOLOGICAL SITE MANAGEMENT
Glebe Contractors are actively involved in ecological site work. It is important to us that areas are managed, protected and cared for properly. We have the expertise to help develop and care for your ecological site and our services include; habitat creation, pond creation, board walk installations, sleeper bridges and more. We work in woodlands, wetlands and heathlands and are experienced at working on NNR (National Nature Reserves), SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
